Technology Through The Ages Event with Madras College
The school hosted a fun and highly successful outreach event on May 26th for S1 pupils from Madras College. Pupils explored the development of computing technology through the ages and were able to play with a large range of interactive technology demonstrations and exhibits.
As in previous years, it was great to see how engaged and well behaved they all were with Computing, which is a real credit to Madras College and it was lovely to see everyone having fun, including us older kids (CS staff 🙂 )
Special thanks to all in CS who got involved with this, volunteering their equipment and time to interact with the S1 pupils, testing, setting up the room with equipment and clearing it all away …  especially Davie and Nicol who bore the brunt of it.
Also, special thanks to the S1 pupils for joining us and to Janice Patterson, Keith Maskell and Stephen Forbes at Madras for all their work in organising everything from the Madras side and for the cakes.
