Wikimedia Silver Jubilee award
Congratulations to Kirsty Ross who has won a Wikimedia UK Silver Jubilee Award, to mark the 25th anniversary of Wikipedia.
18 people were nominated by the community for their outstanding contribution to open knowledge, with the five winners proposed by a small staff committee and approved by the Wikimedia Board of Trustees.
Kirsty will be presented with her award later this year.

“I was absolutely blown away by the news that I’d been awarded a Wikimedia UK Silver Jubilee Awards, and I am grateful to be in such excellent company. None of my achievements would have been possible without the dedication of students and volunteers collaborating with me to contribute their knowledge to the Wiki projects. I am looking forward to continuing these efforts, through the IDEA Network and beyond, for the next 25 years! Thank you.”
